McVay is a great coach, and part of the problem.
I have lost A LOT of respect for McVay and so will many, many players like Woods, Kupp and O line guuys who fought for Goff.....
McVay is over his head with the junk he put on the net with getting rid of Goff....I hesitate to say he is a loser in my book, but like K Warner he is getting there fast.
Just to be fair, McVay made 2 ‘non-supportive’ comments post playoffs about Goff.
1. He said all players would be re-evaluated, including the QB. So what? Big deal. A very tame and common sense thing to say, if you ask me.
2. Following day he made his ‘QB right now’ comment. This one raised my eyebrows and I wish he had used other language, but it’s still not all that inflammatory, IMO. It did open the speculation floodgates about a Goff departure, though.
3. Then Snead gets cutesy at one point in an hour long interview along the line of ‘QB today’.
And now here we are. Chasing down every rumor and even player tweet. Lol.
