Nothing wrong with the big splash since as you noted, we got to the big game.

We didn't get over the top because our scheme, QB, and OL were exposed.

McVay has made adjustments to the scheme. The OL is decent now but needs continued investment. But the biggest move of significantly upgrading the QB likely puts us over the top.

The window is the next 3 years with Donald and Ramsey teamed up on defense. They need to strike now.
