Rams are forced to look at their ways of saving cap. They have a QB who isn't moving the needle and hasn't for 2 years. So the business side absolutely factors in.
But this does go a little deeper than just a cap decision. This one there is a lack of belief in the Rams' organization wrt Goff. It is what it is and it's gonna run its course in the form of change at the position.
