Yeah, it’s the ultimate team game and the players, all of them, must make the plays.
But there is no getting around this. Prior to McVay the Rams W/L record was pathetic, at one time record setting bad. Even Fisher never could get them to .500.
Then in comes McVay. With the same darned QB that was 0-7 under Fisher, McVay/Snead change the coaches, the roster, and the O philosophy and go 11-5 winning the division. Went to SB next year.
Folks, that is compelling evidence of the importance of a good HC. HC’s trump even good QB’s. I rest my case.
I trust McVay to make the right decision on this QB thing.
