i think your right about that. in fact i think i remember reading somewhere that rams wrote into the contract that they "restructure" the contract at will. if so, cowherds statement doesnt make sense.
Well restructure at will just means moving the cap hit around.
According to Cowherd, the Rams asked Goff to give money back--not to move it around but to take less.
To be honest it's one of the better theories I've read about what is going on.
