Makes you wonder if McVay is a difficult leader. He sure doesn't seem to promote from within.
He doesn't promote from within, which is a little surprising. Doesn't breed loyalty. Pleasant and Barry both interviewed for the DC job, Pleasant both years, and didn't get it. Mcvay even said Barry would be a DC again some day. I can see where they might think they are at a career dead end with the Rams.
Then again, maybe neither Barry or Pleasant wanted to work with Raheem Morris again?
