You can see from this weekend what we're up against. If we're happy with a playoff win or 2 and no SB's then, yes, let's stay the course. But the goal is to win it all and that takes bold moves.
Are you actually reading my posts, promo? Doesn’t seem like it.
Who’s advocating stay the course? I’m saying upgrade QB, C, and maybe RT and we have a SB worthy O once again. Just 2 years ago Rams were averaging 30+ ppg. Fix these 2-3 things and we could be right back there. C’mon, man.
serious question for you, 43
how do you explain the same QB that was lighting up scoreboards two short years ago suddenly losing it?
I just don't see it as much as a Goff problem as much as a what happened around him problem...that is actually tangible and obvious as we all can see the OL, WR and RB from those days are no longer here....I can see if Goff never showed any qualities and never had any signature wins, but it simply isn't the case....McVay never hands him a franchise QB contract if didn't think he was good...He has had a few stinkers this year for sure, but the common denominator in most of those were the OL getting pushed around....also the good games and wins outweigh the losses and bad games....We all saw him light up the NFC Champs a couple months ago and outplay the GOAT when we couldn't run the ball and saw him gut it out in the playoffs this year and seemed to be one of very few bright spots in the loss.....
Now, he is far from perfect and I see a young QB who is inconsistent, but I also see inconsistency from this
entire team, including the defense....people forget the defense had their hands in a few of our losses this year too
I know people want to try and dismiss Bucky Brooks take on the issues, but he hits the nail on the head as far as what else is actually happening imo
I just don't see how it would be possible at this point to upgrade him considering our cap space and draft capital, so we might as well do all we can to just get back to what made him a pro bowl level QB that he was in 2017-2018 and hopefully he got the message from McVay and comes back ready to get back to that level....would be nice to get him a bit more help upfront and some speed on the outside to help get him there
