Lot of similarities. The QB situation, not so much. Warner couldn't grip a football because his broken bones deteriorated his dexterity. Goff? What his excuse other than everything and the kitchen sink? Since '18, Goff has been a bottom tier QB. Warner had an injury riddled 7 game stretch. 41 games of ineptitude vs. 7 games of playing through injury. Just not the same.
Warner welcomed competition. His whole career was an uphill battle. If all it takes to alienate Goff is to say that everyone is under evaluation, then there's a real problem with him.
I love Kurt, still my all time favorite Rams player of all time, but I'd like to see what a 28 year old Goff could do behind that OL and with weapons Faulk, Bruce, Holt and Az
Not saying he'd be Warner, but I'm guessing he wouldn't be being run out of town by some fans....although Warner himself went through that too
