He needs a new DC and ST coach.
He just alienated his QB, so hes probably in the market for a new QB as well.
Then add in the CAP issues and he's likely gonna lose some good players, especially on defense. And they lost their best personnel guy.
No wonder hes been looking all stressed out. He's back to square one.
Well, at least he found a Kicker courtesy of Hekker and McQuade.
The ST coach won't be too hard he just might need to go down a level to find a younger guy who is energetic and detailed. He went with a seasoned hire there and I feel like a younger coach might be what he's looking for.
DC is a tough fill. But the McVay of today is a different guy than the one who swooped into LA with Wade on his hip. He's been very involved with the defense and hired a guy to run quarters, so he targeted what he wanted and will do so again. Imagine interviewing with McVay... No way you get through that unless you really know what you're doing.
As to QB all I can say is there's a good chance Goff returns and has to compete for his job. He'll have a vet to compete with most likely. Maybe open competition who knows.
I think your take is unnecessarily negative. McVay is on top of things. Everything will be just fine particularly if they can get OL and QB playing at a higher level.
