Look I hope Goff overcomes whatever is going on with him right now. But expecting him to find himself when he's in Lambeau in January is a bit of a stretch for me. And I am usually a homer for the most part. So I am hopeful but if you watch the tape of that game there is very little to see in the way of having something to make you feel confident about our QB.
Goff had one of his 4 bad games in Seattle in December and somehow for some that becomes "what he is right now" (paraphrase not real quote). Whatever he presumably is right now, he wasn't that in 12 games including the wildcard game, and in those games the Rams went 10-2,
The issue in this game will be his hand. My bet is GB doesn't have the kinds of horses on defense you need to mount the kind of attack that undermines the McVay offense, this OL, and Goff.
I don't know what that will mean though. If a banged up Goff comes through even at the level he did in the wildcard game, if Akers and the blocking come through, and if the defense holds up--the Rams can win, even on the road, even in Lambeau, even in (the not really that cold) 30 degree weather.
