One thing you will rarely see from me...

Oh hell.. I'm such a liar... one thing you will NEVER see from me is over confidence before a game, ANY game. When asked about an upcoming game without any doubt I will rattle off the negatives and why the Ram's can't take the opponent lightly while listing all the things they have not done well and need to improve. IOW -

To anyone witting earshot I will 'sound' negative. My grandsons know that about me, know it well.... they've been telling me all year.... "Pops, they're good, better than you think they are". And I can't BS you... hearing that from them is music to my ears.

In truth I am actually NOT always negative, and I'm NEVER without hope. Superstition... If I say the words "I think the Rams are going to win" I'll start dodging perceived lightening bolts. I HAVE done that... but I'm not comfortable with doing it AT ALL.

Being a defensive guy, (then, now, and forevermore), I believe having a great D gives you more than a 'shot'... it gives you a 'good shot'. We've got a good shot.
