I see no reason whatsoever to start an injured Jared Goff over Wolf
You certainly wouldn’t do that based off of anything you saw Saturday.... well I wouldn’t
Fans are funny. Listen to McVay and watch his actions. That’s tells you everything you need to know
Goff has a surgically repaired thumb and prior to that he wasn’t playing well anyhow. So along with that the Rams should start him over Wolf in a cold weather game in Green Bay?
Have people forgotten how poorly he played in Chicago and Denver in the cold in 2018?
Heck if Goff had come in last week and played well then I could see it. Just because he gutted it out doesn’t mean he should start
Wolf clearly gives the Rams the best chance to win.
Follow McVay he’s telling everything you need to know.
You’re too dug in, Speed. All due respect, but you’re blinded to accepting logical reasons supporting Goff as starter on Saturday.
Look, I can see where reasonable people could support either Goff or Wolford as starter against Packers.
What I can’t see is being totally dismissive of either QB by using phrases like ‘no reason whatsoever’ or ‘clearly gives Rams best chance to win’. It isn’t clear at all, man. If it were then we wouldn’t be having this debate thread.
Personally, I think Goff is the ‘least worst’ choice, but if McVay chooses to go with Wolford I will understand.
I do join you in thinking that there’s something not quite ‘right’ about our current Goff, but that’s an issue for offseason discussion, I think.
