One poster said something like, "don't blame the officials, it's weak".. but in fairness I believe he was replying to all the calls in general... and our whining about officiating, NOT the specific non call on Wolford... but about that non-call, and the 'whining' about it...
That was a non-call that not only SHOULD be whined about but I believe it's a 'moral imperative", (little humor there), that we DO whine about it... that hit was egregious. That non-call was so blatantly "anti-rules', and ESPECIALLY hearing the excuse from the mouth of the officials as to WHY... that it stands out like a sore thumb.
They didn't 'misjudge'.. they got the entire @#$#@$# rule wrong... and in their explanation confirmed it!
Forget being a Rams fan for second.... and an aversion to 'whining' about the 'officials cost us the game", (I also don't like blaming officiating)... this was ATROCIOUS and goes beyond bias or excuse making and hits directly at the safety of the players.. in this case QB's. I am amazed such a flagrant bad call could be made!
