IMO every single qb in this league has one of those inexcusable passes -and often in every game-not just one. I think what's happening here is there are people who simply do not like Goff -as a qb. Those people will seize upon a game and even a play-as you have done and argue "see". I don't know how one can quantify "how much" fault the qb is responsible for. To me that's a moving target-hence what many have said-there's a lot of reasons Goff isn't the qb of their dreams-some of which is his fault and some of which is not his fault and some of which are congruous. For me no one will convince me the lack of good O line play yesterday wasn't a contributing factor in the qb's performance. Same with the lack of a running game -which is part of number one. Same with the offensive scheme and play calling. And then there is the one "inexcusable" play so if you must -go ahead -and focus on that play.
