Let me follow your logic goff got pressure he escapes it and makes the dumbest play of his career his words not mine and your blaming it on the pass rush? He did have pressure but avoided the sacks better than the ultra mobile Russel wilson yesterday I'm pretty sure wilson was pressured and sacked as much as goff last night he was sacked 5 times to goff 3. What was the stat of wilson last night? This pressure stat where can I find this I'm interested in this?
No you didn't follow what I said. Not even close.
The pressures had an effect on the entire game.
The INT was
just one play.
One INT does not determine a game.
A 55.8% pressure rate DOES.
So you didn't like the INT and so you focus on it and the result is, you don't have a response to the fact that the Rams lost because the OL couldn't handle Seattle's pressure ALL game. You don't even respond to the fact that that's one of the worst games by a Rams OL in years.
And unless that OL gets better no qb is going to do well behind it. Why not? because no qb does well under those conditions.
BTW Warner threw 3 INTs in the 99 championship game v. Tampa. You can throw 1 INT and still move the ball and win on all the other plays. But they couldn't--why not? Again, 24 pressures on 43 dropbacks. It's impossible to play or look good under those conditions and that's on the OL.
As I said if that OL does not get better it will not matter who the qb is.
