He made some passes Goff hasn't made all year and when he takes off scrambling, he is decisive, quick and definitely knows how to slide.. he very well may suck next week and the game may be way too big for him, or he'll be the talk of the town..
Something that I haven't seen much talk about is Goff's slide that cost them a first down.
Aikman mentioned it and said there's a time to be cautious and a time to go get it and I agree. I appreciate that Goff didn't want to get hurt but people have emotions and seeing your QB not fight for a first down in favor of not taking a hit has to affect his teammates. Goff is obviously talented enough physically but I fear he is losing this locker room. Continually failing and then just giving up cannot be sitting well with them.
