Three of our losses were against bad teams. And I mean really bad teams who were missing key players even.
Is this the McVay kryptonite? Does he not get his team ready against obvious win games? Seems he prepares the team well for Seattle and Tampa Bay, but seems to take for granted to crappy teams. It needs to end, but it is such a long established pattern it concerns me.
Let's see....
2017 losses (Washington...yes, Seattle....no, Minnesota....no, Philadelphia....no, San Fran....yes but he was resting starters)
2018 losses (Chicago...no, Philadelphia....no, New Orleans...no)
2019 losses (Tampa Bay...yes, Seattle...no, San Fran...no, Pitt...no, Balt...no, San Fran...no, Dallas...no)
2020 losses (Buffalo...no, at San Fran...maybe, Miami...no, San Fran...yes, NYJ....YES)
Seems to me we aren't worse at this than most teams. Our last two losses fit that description and the one before that we outgained that team 5 to 2. But they have proven to be a good team. But look at all the lesser opponents we HAVE disposed of.
