Rams-Jets series

Not a ton of history between these two teams. Rams lead the all-time series 10-4.

The ones that stand out to me:
- the 1983 game (the famous Dickerson


85-yard TD run, the


Gastineau fight, Rams lose in OT but keep reestablishing themselves as a contender)
- 1998. Rams weren't a good team and facing a very good Jets team. Was probably the Rams most complete game in several years. Held the Jets under 180 yards offense and won in a blowout.
- 2008. Rams down 40-0 at halftime. Those were good times.
- 2012. Rams lay an egg at home in a very winnable game coming off the overtime tie @SF. Their worst game that season in my opinion, ultimately costing them a winning record. .
