GB and NO each have to pick up a loss against an NFC team while the Rams win out in order for the Rams to get the #1 seed. Otherwise GB and NO would hold the tiebreaker over the Rams because of a better conference record.
Specifically ...
The Rams would have to beat the Jets at home, Seahawks on the road, and Cards at home.
And the Packers would have to lose to either the 4-9 Panthers at home (this Saturday night) or at the 6-7 Bears in week 17.
And the Saints would have to lose to either the 6-7 Vikings at home in week 16 or the 4-9 Panthers on the road in week 17.
The Rams might get help and end up with the #1 or #2 seed but as I've said before..........
True champions don't fret about what seed they end up having when the postseason begins.
Win out, go 12-4 and beat the teams left on your schedule when the playoffs begin.
So many fans get caught up on the final seedings and worry about how their favorite team can get the easiest schedule and matchups to help them tip toe into the SB.
If your team is playing their best ball at the end of the season and can't win a big road playoff game, they don't deserve to play for the Lombardi.
I don't fret what their playoff seeding ends up being as long as they finish the season 12-4.
