Nice post Bum.
Re: Goff it looks like this offense is positioned to be a power play action attack. Which has a great track record in the playoffs when it is paired with a strong defense. We have seen QBs like Dilfer, Simms, (younger) Manning, etc who are not special in any way win it all with the defense and ground game. Goff is better than those guys IMO as a passer, but the key this year in the playoffs will be his ball security which is an area those types were exceptional.
This assumes we will be able to continue running the ball well. If not, we are going to get eliminated. But if we do run the ball well Goff is more than capable of complementing that all the way to a championship. So our hopes of a championship IMO lie primarily in our ability to keep Akers rolling and to have him and Hendy both adding some complexity in the pass game on top of occasionally flipping the field for us with big gainers.
This isn't the Rams of two years ago that's for sure. But it might be the right Rams to get it done. We're in this man.
