You can totally win this way but we didn't have a punt fest last night we grounded out plays and kept things moving we went conservative in the 4th and tried to sit on alead because we were up by three tds.
Indeed. Young's pick-6 made it possible to play conservative. With Akers averaging about 7 yards at that point it made sense to feed him and run out the clock. And let's be honest, with his recent struggles I'm not sure we want to se Goff tossing up the football when there's no need for it.
