They're not gonna run it up on us with their offense barring an uncharacteristically poor game from a motivated and quality Rams defense. Key is not giving them short fields and momentum. If it's not there throw it away punt when you need to and wait them out like they always have done to other teams.
Belichick eats young QBs. So this is a QB GAME that we're going to see on Thursday. Goff is going to see his run game stuffed most likely and tons of variations and disguising on the back end. He'll see that entire range from single high to flooded zones with light fronts and he's going to need to check into the right plays as well as make key throws for us to win.
The good thing here is Goff is more advanced now than he was in the Super Bowl. He's got a better grasp of protections and thanks to Miami has been sharpening up his blitz reads and prep which are going to pay dividends in the playoffs and maybe on Thursday night.
