If anyone has McVays ear, I need you to ask him about our OL and why he can't settle on 1 RB. The OL is blocking for 3 different RBs. I doubt they alter their style based on who is running so some of the change-ups don't make sense to me. Akers or Brown need to be the primary back and Henderson the COP.
There is not enough consistency established with each runner to say switching is even helping or hurting because there is a trend with each. We can't run like Tennesse and Cleveland or Patriots just off the top of my head we have not established a running game like 9ers only a running commitment but that leaves a lot to be desired because of how disruptive it is to our offensive flow.
I agree Akers may be the answer but he is never going to be as long as McVay is unwilling to let him establish himself. Way to waste some talent for a rookie season when you consider where he was drafted. Same with Jefferson. If he can separate then why can't we use that?
