The translation, at least to my mind, is that the two kid RBs don't have a good enough grasp of the offense yet. And film backs that up. Goff routinely has to correct both Hendy and Brown as to where to line up. So I would hope behind the scenes they're working hard to get Akers going. He's the piece. He's the only one who can help us settle down the position since Gurley suffered that knee, it's not a coincidence this offense has been plodding since.
