Nice post Speed and I pretty much agree with it all.
I think we got robbed in the Buffalo game at the end with that atrocious DPI call. Otherwise we would have had an epic comeback win.
The Miami game I put squarely on Goff's shoulders. He was awful in that game and in spite of that we outgained them by 300-400 yards or thereabouts. It was all of those turnovers that killed us.
As much as I hate to admit it, I've seen enough now to believe that Goff does hold this team back a little bit. He's serviceable and can make the throws but he just doesn't make any off-schedule plays, which you need to keep drives alive. At the beginning of the year it looked like he grew and matured a lot since last season but now it looks like he has regressed back to what we saw last year. I want him to be great but I don't know man, I just don't think he has it in him. You can still win with a QB like that though if the team surrounding him is good, as the Rams are.
So I think the Rams are a Super Bowl contender and if they beat Brady's Bunch that will say a lot.
