Is the whole purpose of posting the article is to be critical of Goff or is it to create discussion?
We all have opinions on the Ram's offense response to pressure.
I'm sure we can all agree that the entire offense has some responsibility to carry out their assignments.
The two strip sacks that come to mind.
The strip sack against the Seahawks. Goff climbed the pocket when he saw Adams go past him with Mundt in pursuit. Maybe he thought Mundt would pick up the block? What was the play call? What should he of done? That's a question for McVay did any reporters ask him?
The Miami strip six in the red zone. Zero blitz killing the Rams all game. Should Henderson of picked up the unblocked rusher, it looks like Henderson ran around him instead of chipping? Would Wood or Kupp picked him up in the same scenario? How about leaving a back or tight end in the backfield? Why leave Goff exposed if he is so bad under pressure? I'm just glad he was able to walk off the field
Stats never tell the whole story. For example, how about the QB who throws three 1 yard TD's on 1st down, compared to the team that runs ball in? Passer rating is inflated. Much less risk with running the ball, but the QB gets rewarded for 3 snowbird TD's.
