the subject line discusses the Rams ol and how well it has performed
you came in with an example of Mundt missing a block. Why are you doing that? What does that have to do with anything?
As I said PFF gives pass blocking grades to TEs, WRs, and RBs in addition to OLmen
I also noticed you did not answer my question regarding how well the Rams oline is playing or the fact that PFF credits QBs with sacks.
You missed all the answers to all that.
1. I could care less about the subject line, there is room within topics to raise many points.
2. Mundt missed a block, badly, in max protect no less and let the pass rusher get behind the qb with a clear line to bat the throwing arm (Donald did the same thing to Mahomes on a famous play except Donald actually had to work to do that, the Seattle defender didn't). That's a complaint about a play. Bringing it up is normal. What would be weird is to continually contest why someone would say it (and also acting like I am the only one who did).
3. You missed my point again. Yes they do pass blocking grades on non-linemen. What they don't do is add all that up into a overall team pass pro grade.
4. I think PFF crediting the qb with sacks is an example of them being subjective. Either way if sacks are low with the Rams, and they are, while I cannot go play by play and say who that is on with any given play, it is true, as I have said many times myself, if you are high in attempts and high in pressure but low in sacks, that goes to the qb.
Do I think this is an elite line? No! But it's a good one. They are surprisingly good run blockers but they can't be elite in pass pro as long as they have both Hav and Edwards starting, even with Whitworth. Those are not elite pass blockers. But they can be efficient as a unit. Though they are in max protect too much for me to think they have confidence in the OL to just deliver on its own regardless of circumstances.
