I don't buy the idea that the Rams OL is elite in pass pro because there are too many qualifications to it. Rams still have issues on third and long, they run max protect more than anyone else, and they run play action (I believe) more than anyone else. It's clearly a good line and that especially stands out in run blocking, but just objectively---all other considerations aside---I doubt it's elite. And that was before Whitworth went out.

I don't buy the PFF take for a lot of reasons, among them being that no they do not factor TE/RB blocking into general assessment of the entire offense in pass pro (and we have seen now both Akers and Mundt whiff blocks in different games), they don't count pressures the same way PRF does (and PRF's numbers correspond better to what I see), and so on.
