The problem with Goff is he relies on Cooper Kupp too much. Goff better practice that inside slant throw to Robert Woods, Van Jefferson and Josh Reynolds....

Yes the solution to a cover zero is to take routes where the defense has vacated which would be the middle of the field your slot guys or tes would be hot reads to sprint through coverage Instead of sitting on routes in zones. It requires anticipation or touch on some of these throws as you may not have time to beat the blitz. Goff struggles with these ad lib throws as his typical trajectory is a fastball instead of lofting touch passes or putting some air under his throws.

There is also a cut technique employed on blitzing rushers to keep them from jumping at the line of scrimmage or knocking them down the only problem is if you miss.
