He is one of the worst QB's I've seen when it comes to throwing short swing passes or screens that require touch/elevation and leading the receiver up field .I noticed he had several tipped/blocked passes yesterday. He's great on intermediate and out routes, but his short passing with touch really needs work.
Troy Aikman was one of the best I've ever seen doing that.
Rivers had some of those throws yesterday for the Colts. High, arcing rainbows that just fall from the sky into his RB's hands as they catch them in full stride.
It seems like 2 RB sets where each back chips and goes out into a pattern would help against these pressure fronts defenses are using against us. Not to mention a TE that can catch.
