Thanks for posting that interesting article. In the part about rolling out to open up passing lanes, I was reminded about one of the unusual aspect of yesterday's game: Why did Goff have so many passes deflected at the line of scrimmage? This happened more often than perhaps in an other Rams game I have ever watched.

I'm amazed on how NFL caliber QBs can antcipate a lineman or cb,or lb jumping to disrupt a pass. It is pretty amazing but you see it on replays how QBs anticipate the jump or hand up and change the trajectory of the ball to compensate. Yesterday Goff didn't have the right touch on the ball and couldn't anticipate and adjust properly.
