It always bothered me the Rams went with the shorter, weaker arm QB over the likes of James Harris & Ron Jaworski, I realize Carroll Rosenbloom thought highly of the Rhode Scholar, however, the only thing he could offer was the ability to run and Harris had that ability too. Dealing Jaws to Philly and then Harris to San Diego for a washed up Namath as I realize was desperation time by 77, but I will never understand going with Haden over both and really disappointed as a youngster that Jaworski was not the QB of the future.
