Some history from 1976

October 28, 2020 04:41AM
I was living in Baton Rouge in 1976, game was on TV there. Harris lit it up in the 2nd half. It was a close game, Miami was ahead for most of the game. Harris got a lot of accolades after that game, and Rams fans felt better about him being the guy. Then he had a bad game against the Bengals and the critics started in on him again. Pat Haden took over at QB, Rams beat Cowboys in first round of playoffs, then got beat by Vikings in the mud bowl in LA. Haden couldn't grip the ball with his tiny hands. We didn't know hand measurements back then so who knows how small his hands were.
