what about games 7 and 8 of that year (losses to Tennessee and Detroit)
in those two road losses did we not conclude that although the Rams lost they they were really good
I just think it’s odd how some are trying to act like game 7 is not a big game and a measuring still against a 5-1 team with a very very good defense
It’s too early? Really?
I find it odd that some people are declaring that this is a big game. Though it's fine with me if they do it...I figure this year, there will be a lot of differing perceptions.
To me, all this game is going to do is set up some recency biases either direction. They could lose and still take the division. They could win and still lose the division.
The team has a long road ahead of it and could falter after a win or get itself together after a loss.
99 was a superbowl team the minute it took the field in game 1, it just took fans (and the media) a few games to realize. This is not that situation.
This team it's not only unclear how good they are to us, it's unclear in itself--it could get itself together or falter. There's many reasons for that and we know them all.
