Detroit schemed them, exposing the OL issues (including especially Sullivan and Blythe). The "#1 ranked OL" was a myth in the 2nd half of 2018 and you ought to have been able to see that just by watching. If you've read anything I've written about since before 2019 began I have repeatedly pointed to the ways the OL was inconsistent at best in the 2nd half of 2018. You can't toss that away with quips. It;s a fact of what happened. It's not the only thing that happened but it was part of it. Meanwhile in both Dallas and Detroit they got good games from Gurley even with iffy OL play. They had both issues (run and OL) in the superbowl.

Meanwhile in the first half of 2018 they played 2 top 10 defenses and slaughtered them: Chargers and Vikings. In those 2 games Goff had qb ratings of 123.8 and 158.3.
