For me the issue is level of play. And, while the circumstances might be true for all teams, one team might be more adversely affected than others. Look how some teams had several opt-outs, and other teams had none. It will be entirely the luck of the draw and on what is emphasized by the organization; and I suspect that this will play a significant role in who wins and in who goes on to the playoffs.
And, we don't know what teams will have guys who test positive, and others have fewer or none.
But to suggest that it's a level playing field might be true in one sense, but it is certainly not in how each player adjusts to it.
