I agree that the players and coaches are not being asked about much of anything but virus related stuff.
My concern is that these players are human beings and they cannot help but be affected by what goes on around them. And what is going on around them is pretty much concern for the virus and little else. Not jobs. Not keeping businesses alive, educating our kids, etc. I'm not saying the virus isn't a big deal. I'm saying that whether it is as big a deal of some insist, or whether it is not so big in reality, that winning football games may, for many if not most players, be of a secondary concern. And if that is the case, then I doubt they can completely compartmentalize the "virus first" mindset from how they play, and what meaning winning games has at the present time.
But, for contract and financial purposes, many are probably willing to take the risk and go through the motions. Winning is not necessarily that important.
Even that were true (which I seriously doubt) it;s true of all teams. Which means the playing field is level. And when they play, one will win. So where's the problem?
