The Rams spent the offseason forced to get rid of players for salary cap reasons
They left major holes for backups to fill in... and left an offensive line intact that started the season off horribly and then they filled in some backups that played better but were far from good on any kind of consistent level
Theiry is on the right track... the Rams swapped Gurley for Akers who is an unknown. Last year after much hype Henderson couldn't even get on the field and then got hurt.
It is a reset year for the Rams. We don't know what Akers will do until we see it. Jefferson is another question mark and certainly, if he is like any other 2nd round WR its going to take him some time to learn the ropes... especially on a team with receivers like the Rams
I have no idea why the responses in the thread are coming after Theiry. She hits the nail on the head.
The Rams certainly don't look like a team that is better than the 9-7 record they sported last year. In fact, it could very much be an Atlanta Falcons type year
They aren't moving in the direction we want and it will likely take a year for them to recover.... and COVID doesn't help
