I actually liked her article. Whether you agree with her takes it not she at least supported them with stats and interview clips with McVay. I don't know if she's a football expert or even more importantly a Rams expert, but as far as her journalistic effort this a a professionally written article. If is very hard to evaluate where our Rams are with their talent. We had All Pro firmer stars leave and they are being replaced with young players. Gurley certainly had a tough SB and last season, but even then he would score in the red zone. Cooks was one of the biggest deep threats in the NFL and it never really worked here. Even so, he was a thousand yard WR. Losing these two are big loses. I think Reynolds might be fine and I really like Jefferson, but right now, the most enthusiastic fan can't tell you that they will be better than Cooks. Henderson and Akers might be better than Gurley but we don't KNOW that. We have young offensive linemen. Maybe they will improve. We hope so. We don't KNOW that they will The TEs should be better and deeper. She said so. I think the better question than all this is how will this young team improve as the season plays out and will they be much better than last year by its end? I think they will.
