When I was a kid my cousin lived in Irvine so we would ride our bikes every morning down to UCI in the summer for training camp. We would get up early in the morning and hang out all day getting autographs and meeting players. Back in the day they would do two a days and have a break for lunch. We would stay for both practices and often were the only ones that were around so we would sneak onto the field and run through the gauntlet machines. We had a chance to run routes for some of the backup rookie QBs like TJ Rubley. He would be one of the first ones out to the field and he would throw to us left handed for fun. Lot of cool players Cleveland Gary always looked at all his football cards and would say man I don't have this one. I told him he could have it and he was looking around his uniform for a place to put it. He looked down and put in his sock lol. He then asked me if I could put in his locker for him Instead.
