Best case scenario is the Rams do what the Cheifs/Saints do.......RB by committee......So, a Henderson/Akers combo, where they both share the load would be the best for this franchise.
2 Rb's...... always fresh legs, both RB's you can do multiple things with, solid RB in case of injury...Create mismatches with LB's in 2 back sets from time to time.
Andy Reid makes a living with 2 RB's......I think McVay likes the idea as well.
Honestly, in your previous post you sounded quite dismissive of Akers’ chances to be the starter. Even declared Hendy MILES ahead. So, I took your comments literally.
As an aside, RB is a position that probably needs the least amount of camp and meetings. Let’s don’t forget that Akers thinks like a QB because he once was one. Which both minimizes Akers’ learning curve AND kinda makes Hendy’s ‘19 struggles even more problematic.
We do agree that there will likely be a RB by committee, but apparently disagree about which player gets the lions share of the snaps.
