I totally get what you are saying... it is a concern but they are obviously banking on some of those players to come through
I also think McVay really believes in his system masking limitations in the oline all the motion and play action causing defenses to freeze and react. It did that even in 2018
Not saying I agree with him just trying to get my arms around the why.
I truly don't think people understand how much of a question mark this line is... that is until it comes time to hand out blame when and if Goff doesn't play well. Then the oline is clearly the issue <shrug>
Gonna have to hope for the best on this one... the Rams oline IMO lacks athleticism. Boom, & Evans can go a long way to changing that. Perhaps Edwards too?
Haha...or when the Oline plays poorly just blame it all on Goff like some like to do <shrug>
But like you said, it's time to get a return on our investment
2018 Draft
First pick -Noteboom. 3rd round
2nd pick -Allen. 4th round
8th pick - Demby 6th round
2019 Draft
4th pick -Evans 3rd round
6th pick -Edwards 5th round
Also traded for Corbett for 5th round pick in 2020
Along with our 7th rounder this year
That is 7 picks to go along with three starters from the Super Bowl team (Whitworth, Blythe, Havs)
That should have been plenty.... I want NOTHING more than to have a dominant line, losing Saffold was our biggest mistake but that ship has sailed...it's time for these young bucks to step in and step up. I think Evans and Edwards showed enough last year to let McSnead focus on some other positions in this year Draft.
All we can do is sit back and hope it all works out....but I ain't mad about the draft and I didn't get "my guys"
