Jefferson's production should have been way better as a senior prospect. His numbers were underwhelming. Why?
I don’t see this OL as good enough to stand pat. I see the Rams playing double or nothing on a dubious cast. Allen is not good at all, Noteboom is a huge question mark. Corbett has shown nothing to convince me that he’s good enough, and telling me he was the 33rd pick is infuriating, it means less than nothing to me. Whit is way too old. Blythe is smart but a physical liability that will always get exposed against strong fronts. Havenstein is limited to RT, and he may not get that job back. Evans and Edwards are promising, and that’s what we’ve got to be satisfied with on this OL. When, in all likelihood, they struggle again this year it won’t make me feel any better to hear the excuses (labeled explanations by loquacious posters), it will just make me feel I saw coming what should have been blatantly obvious to an absolute football neophyte.
Like I said. The Rams have invested 6-7 draft picks inthe last two years ...they've not neglected that position and feel it's time to get an ROI
Did the Florida QB get drafted? Don't worry about his production in college Watch the tape- I think it's safe to say McVay and Snead have an eye for talent at WR. Saciliano said VJ was a stand out at Senior Bowl...said the kid won every day.
The draft this year wasn't exactly an OL draft...it was a WR/RB draft so I have no issue with Rams replacing to of our biggest losses (Gurley and Cooks) with our first two picks.
It was pretty clear throughout this draft that it was a skill position and defense heavy draft as OL fell, which tells me there wasn't much difference in ratings from 3rd to 7th round OL.
Btw, they got an All Pro lock down CB at pick #20
So who would you have drafted and where? I'd like to hear it
