I get what you're saying. A really high-powered, balanced Rams offense like they had in 1988 and 1989 would have been great to see that day.

But also remember the Rams 1989 defense was nowhere near their 1985 team. That was a top 4-5 defense front to back in '85. In '89 they were pretty good but relied on turnovers and sacks. They gave up a lot of yards and points.
