Both positions need long term pieces to finish up what is basically a rebuild of the OL. Center is pretty easy to find, relative to the others. LT is another thing though, it's going to be tough if we don't get lucky with one this year at 52.
Ignoring those needs comes with extreme risk. As it stands right now if Whit can't go we're in trouble. If Blythe gets hurt we're in trouble. If you're the GM do you really want to allow the same positional group to ruin your season for the second year in a row? That's a firing offense for me if I'm the owner.
If Donald gets hurt we're in trouble. If Goff gets hurt we're in trouble. If Kupp gets hurt we're in trouble. If a number of people on the team get hurt we're in trouble.
Center and LT are simply two needs on a long list. I wouldn't say they're the highest need. Chances are, if they draft a center or LT, they're drafting for next year.
