Well, I agree that Snead likes to generally draft players a year in advance of when they’re expected to be needed.
And I agree that that was the plan for Hendo, too. Problem is that Hendo fell far short of expectations.

And those numbers were while Gurley was clearly struggling.
So, to me, it would be madness to rely on Hendo as our RB bell cow this season. I have zero confidence in Brown in that role, either. Therefore, they must acquire a quality RB this offseason for insurance, if nothing else. Only question is whether it will be a FA or draft pick and how early if it’s a draft pick.
