I’ve read that Fangio/Staley value blitzes and unpredictability. IOW, that pass rush is gonna come from many directions but the O will struggle to figure out just which player is coming from play to play. All 4 LB’s plus 2-3 Safeties plus 2-3 CB’s depending on sets. Everybody’s gonna get into the act under Staley more so than under Wade. Versatility and unpredictability is now the name of the game. I’m really stoked on this potential new Staley D.
The pressures and sacks will come, especially if our vaunted secondary forces the QB to wait a fraction of a second too long.

With the run defenders they picked up they have a shot at being elite in run defense. Couple an elite run D with a very strong secondary and the DC should be able to concoct all kinds of creative blitzes to generate a pass rush to add to AD's impact.
