hard to judge better/worse yet, but...

I'll speculate a few things. For one, the one that most NEEDS TO improve as a unit is the OL. I think it will but to what degree is unknown.

On the OL I'd love to see how the Rams rated as a unit the first 9 games vs. the final 7 because I think they evolved quite a bit at that point (Blythe to center, Evans and Corbett starting, etc.). And to my untrained eye they went from a bottom-5 OL the first 9 games to a middle of the road one the final 7. I do believe in Edwards and Evans and that they'll be noticeably better in year 2. And Blythe is a better C than RG (and a better C than Allen of course). The questions are LG and RT- and of course overall cohesion and health. The biggest x-factor is Havenstein. He could still be traded, benched or possibly return to 2017/18 form. Who knows.

Defensively all I'll say is I think they will look stronger as a run defense (Robinson and Floyd, Brockers back, Gaines entering year 2, Kiser > Reeder/Hager, Johnson > Weddle). What I wonder is where the pass rush comes from...

Special teams doesn't get as much attention and I think they fell off quite a bit in 2019. Who knows what happens at kicker but Hekker specifically needs to get back to his pre-2019 self and their coverage units will hopefully be stronger. But that's partly determined by who the 46th-53rd guys on the roster are so who knows right now.
