They could have kept both NRC and Littleton. They just chose to signed Floyd and Robinson instead.
NRC's cap hit would have been $5M if they had picked up his option; Littleton's cap hit this year with the Raiders is $11.75M. Total $16.75M.
Floyd's cap hit in 2020 is $10M. Robinson signed a 2-year, $17M deal but I can't find out how it's structured. But considering the Rams signed Whit to a 3-year, $30M deal and his cap hit in 2020 is only $6.67M it's easy to imaging Robinson is going to come in under $6.75M. (As an example: $10M signing bonus, $1.5M salary in 2020, $5.5M salary in 2021.)
