betting on a roll of dice is purely based on chance. rather they are applying information derived through observations of games and practice (which none of us are privy too) to make projections on any development/regression.
AW is a good tackle. not as good as he was but they believe he can be successful 1 more year. Plus hes a tremendous leader.
Blythe performed great in 2018, had some difficulties at guard in 2019 then was good at center. Personally and based on the 1 year deal he signed, I think they want Corbett to be their Center.
Edwards, Evans and Noteboom should all improve.
Havenstein is perplexing becasue he was really good then wasnt. My question is why. I suspect the rams probably have a better idea as to why.
In my view they would benefit from adding a LT prospect who could potential play guard as well. Luckily enough the draft has a few of those guys who will be available in the 2nd/3rd.

We are not going to be improved at LT because Whit is another year older coming off a season in which he had a noticeable slide from 2018.
We are not going to be improved at Center because Blythe is a subpar starter whose signing was to hold the spot for a rookie to develop.
Now those things aside there is still room for the Rams to improve on the line but it puts greater emphasis on Edwards, Evans, Corbett, and Havenstein. I understand the approach even if I would have done it differently, but regardless whether this line grows into a unit that is befitting a Super Bowl team comes down to those other three positions raising the bar.
I'm skeptical but who knows maybe this will work out. Gonna root and hope as I always do.
